Programmes

1. Curriculum Lessons

In Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary, we aim to make our Math lessons enjoyable. As such, we design a variety of lessons to engage our students. Following are some lessons which were carried out.

Authentic Learning

2. Remediation Programmes

Mathelist Programmes for Lower Secondary School
- Increase students’ interest in Math
- Increase students’ confidence in Math
Remedial Programmes for Sec 3 students
Sec 4/5 Consultation
- Topical revision in Semester 1
- Timed Practice and Math Consultations in Semester 2

3. Mathematics Competitions

Objectives:

To excite and interest students in the learning of Mathematics
To provide opportunities for students to gauge themselves against the national/regional level
To expose our students to Mathematics related competitions and gain confidence in the learning of Mathematics

Competitions:

Singapore and Asian Schools Mathematics Olympiad (SASMO)
Singapore Mathematical Olympiad (SMO)
National FinLit Competition
